Anne!

This little goof is so ready to find her family! Anne is a perfect puppy. Vet thinks she is about 18 weeks old and weighs 25 pounds. She is full of puppy curiosity; Kongs full of peanut butter, observing the squirrels, and chewing a few sticks are totally fun. Anne gets the zoomies, pounces on the ball when it is thrown and loves to chase her foster kids around the yard. She is an easy keeper! Potty trained, leash trained, bed sleeper, great with the neighbor dogs, loves car rides and walks like a champ on leash. 

She was shaved due to flea and ticks, so her coat is going to be longer than it currently is. She is up to date on her shots and currently fostered in Littleton. Luckydayrescue.org to apply!

Lady Vega is a gorgeous Rottweiler who is about 6 years old and a healthy 75 lbs.

A beautiful Rottweiler with a giant head, an even bigger heart, and so much love still left to give! While she previously lived with other dogs, she’s made it clear that at this stage in life, she’d much rather be the star of the show and soak up all the love, attention, and comfy spots in the house for herself. This sweet boy is coming to Colorado August 5 and needs an adopter or foster! He is about 9 months old and weighs 50 pounds. He was a stray in Arkansas and was feed by the neighborhood children before he was brought into the shelter. A quick study on the doggy door, this boy is ready to learn and become your best hiking, walking and camping buddy. He has some basic leash training but will need someone interested in teaching him all the cool things. We are not sure if he has met a cat. Neutered. Up to date on all his shots. Meet Mando!

This gentle, happy guy seeks a loving home to grow and thrive in.  Mando is about 85 pounds and is young - the vets have guessed between 7 months and 1 year old.  Flat-Coated Retriever/lab mix? Just a guess. He loves to run and play and walk and hike and snuggle and explore and lounge. 

Mando is fun and goofy! He would love a big enclosed yard, a doggie door would be ideal but he is also good at letting you know when he needs to go out. He would thrive with  another buddy to run around with, excellent with other dogs and loves to play so would do best with another dog of similar size to romp with. He is currently having so much fun with his foster doggie sibling. He is also living with cats and is doing great with them.

Mando is happy to lounge- good couch potato after a play and rides well in the car. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, and has good house manners. Working on crate training. Jack loves kids, is very gentle with them.

Ribsy! This handsome pup is about 2 years old and 70 pounds. Not sure of his breed mix but his foster mom said he is the kindest dog ever. When I put his picture in my phone it says he is a German Wirehaired Pointer/Schnauzer mix? We really do not know.

Ribsy is a cuddler and wants to be part of a family. He loves dogs, cats and all humans small and large. He is terrified of loud noises and not too happy with car rides but likely because they have only led to the vet so we think that will get better in time. 

Ribsy loves to run and play but he has an old injury that prevents him from long hikes. We had X-Rays done and the vet couldn’t see anything wrong but he bunny hops when he gets going. 

Ribsy gets tired after about a mile walk and we think it is due to his back end issue. He has settled in nicely to his foster home. He is not crate trained as he is like 'hell no' but sleeps on the big Orthapedic bed they bought him. He needs to be picked up to be put in the car at present. He whines when he needs to go out to potty and is now using the doggie door. He is very food motivated and has learned to sit on command and learning to come. We are working on the down. He does like his walks and sniffing everything! With his food motivation he is easy to train. Very smart. Working on the jumping as he gets excited quickly.

Short afternoon or morning walks would be ideal currently., so he would do well with a less active person or family.  He is very much a puppy still and truly a perfect dog. Ribsy is currently being fostered in a loving home in Crawford, CO. LuckyDayRescue.org to apply!

Meet the fabulous Chip!

This handsome fella is 4 yrs old and 63 pounds of all things good. His DNA came back as Lab/Cattle dog mix, a perfect combo of sweet and fun! Chip loves off-leash adventures and playing with dogs of all sizes. He is great in the car and makes an excellent road trip buddy. He also makes a great running or hiking companion. Another great thing about Chip is he also loves to sleep in, sunbath and chill at home with his humans. A great combo of active and chill! He is smart, soulful and sensitive. Quick learner and has had solid training. He has great recall, knows sit, down, place and is crate trained. This sweet guy would love another dog sibling to play with as he loves to play! Bixby!

This darling pup is now ready for his forever family! He is 14 months old and the perfect 37 pounds. Bixby foster family said 'Bixby is so ridiculously sweet and cute. He's also so good. He's just a wiggly puppy with the sweetest disposition. Once in a while he does little naughty puppy things, but is easily corrected with an eh eh. Bixby is crate-trained, eager-to-please, curious without being destructive. Bixby is smart but not too smart.

Another dog would help him with his confidence and would fulfill his need for play. He is amazing and we love him but we really feel he needs another dog in the home, We had a playdate in our backyard with a confident and playful dog. Bixby was in absolute heaven.’ 

Although Bixby still needs some confidence building. He is a special guy who will reward you with all his heart!

Meet StellaLuna!
This sweet overbred Boston Terrier mix is ready for her next chapter. She is about 6 years old, 29 pounds and about as sweet as they come. She was terrified at the shelter in AR, we brought her to CO and she has been thriving in her foster home. Her fosters said about her:

If you're looking for a loyal companion and champion cuddler, Stellaluna might just be your perfect match. She is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had the pleasure of fostering and has brought so much joy to our family.

Stellaluna is gentle with cats, gets along well with other dogs, and absolutely loves snuggling with children. She does prefer a calmer home, though, and isn't a fan of lots of running, yelling, or chaos. While she's polite with other dogs, we think she'd truly thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, her affectionate and playful personality shines. Her adorable oversized ears are impossible not to love, and when she gets excited, she'll dance around and make the cutest little chortling sounds that will melt your heart. She is a great little hiker and is learning that the leash is a good thing! She also loves to go on adventures in the car.

She is mostly potty trained but having lived in a cage for so long, she occasionally has accidents so needs access to outside (a doggie dog would be great!)
