Marsha! This pretty girl is ready for her forever home.

Her foster mama calls her Birdie. She is about 2 years old and 56 pounds. What a beauty! She gets along great with everyone she meets, dogs, cats and people of all ages. Marsha is very gentle and oh so sweet.

Her foster mom says about her:

You couldn’t ask for a more perfect dog, she is an angel! She can easily be trusted to be left alone, doesn’t chew on anything, or get into anything, ever. Such a good girl. Marsha/Birdie knows sit, stay, come and shake and loves to learn new words. She LOVES the water, she will lay down in the stream and let the water wash over her. She also loves to chase the ball and will bring it back to you every time, but not obsessed about it. She is happy to sleep on the floor but may come up for a cuddle in the bed from time to time.  

One thing you should know about her is she LOVES to run and play and have FUN. The problem is her foster mom doesn’t have a fenced in yard so she doesn’t have the opportunity to ever run off leash… when she gets away she will happily run and run... so we feel she REALLY needs a fenced in yard. She would also love another dog to play with but would be fine as the only pup if she has the opportunity to run off leash. 

Funny quirk- she likes to eat on her own time, kind of a private eater- won’t eat when you are watching but as soon as you leave the room, she will happily gobble it down, funny girl!

Irish is a 3 year old, 68 pound Vizsla mix (maybe with some Rhodesian Ridgeback?) His owner passed away and now he needs a new person or whole family to love him. He is currently at a foster home in AR and his foster mom said about him: 

"OMG! Irish is AMAZING! He’s great with all dogs. May be a little shy when he first meets you but doesn’t last long.  He is just about perfect!  He is magnificent! Sweet old man Benny is ready for his last home, is that with you?

Benny appears to be a Chihuahua mix who is 12 pounds but shedding the extra lbs at his new foster home, getting healthy! The vet in Arkansas guessed him to be 9 years old but his current fosters believe him to be more like 11-12. He is hard of hearing, possibly deaf but it doesn’t slow him down. Benny is really good on a leash and loves being outside! His current foster mama said about him:

"He loves to be outside, at the park on a leash or chasing his foster brother and sister outside.  He's a low key guy that sleeps in a crate through the night, appears to be potty trained but we do let him out whenever he gets up from a nap.  His personality is starting to come out and he has started to explore the house.  He is losing weight too!"

This little fella has had a rough road. His owner ended up in the hospital and the landlord kicked Benny out, just put him outside to fend for himself. He had this massive tumor he was dragging around. Our lovely rescue partners got him and took him to the vet. Lucky Day paid for his tumor to be removed and got him all vetted including a dental.  He is a gentle soul. If you want to give a loving senior guy a home, he will reward you with all his heart! Lola has arrived! She is now ready for her forever home!

Lola is a 7 year old, 68 pound Standard Poodle, just gorgeous! 

She is a dream. Very well mannered, walks great on a leash and is gentle and prances, well, like a Poodle! Loves to play ball. Gets along beautifully with people and other dogs.  She currently in a loving foster home in Aspen, CO.

Jazzy is now in CO and ready for her new home!
Jazzy is a terrier of some sort, 31 pounds and about 5 years old. Her foster said: she is a long girl, guessing she has some Dachshund or Corgi genes mixed in?  She LOVES her people. Wags her tail so much when you get home and is a true velcro dog following her people around everywhere from the kitchen to the bath mat when you're showering. She loves to snuggle! Jazzy walks perfectly next to you on leash. We are still learning what commands she knows but so far she comes when you say her name and sits when asked. Jazzy seems a little bit skittish around larger or super energetic dogs, but has been warming up to her foster siblings and now will even try to sleep in dog beds with them during the day. She is very 'go with the flow' and loves sleeping in the sun and going out for walks. We are not sure about kids or cats as she doesn’t have any in her foster home. Ribsy! This cutie patutie is about 2 years old and 70 pounds. Looks like a Border Terrier mix, but much bigger. What is your guess?  

Ribsy is a cuddler and looking for love. He is great with other dogs, good with cats and people of all ages. He loves his rope toys and just wants to have fun! 

He was skin and bones when he was found, hence the name. Well that and has an uncanny resemblance to the loyal, goofy, inquisitive Ribsy from the Beverlyleary children’s books!  Ribsy is sooo sweet! And so darn cute. He is now crate trained but needs work on leash training. He is eager to learn and will make someone or a whole family very happy!

The ultimate Gentle Giant. This handsome Great Dane is 3 years old and 130 pounds of all things good! Fantastic, very chill personality. 

He is great with other dogs of all sizes, good with cats and fantastic with kids! This guy is a gem. He is neutered, current on all his vetting and ready for his next family.  He is currently in a loving foster home in Aspen, CO

He’s super sweet and perfectly well mannered. Very smart. Sits on command. Is a perfect gentleman on walks. 

I think he would do well in a family with plenty of people to love him. He enjoys being outside and is active but is also a couch potato. He is great with the other dogs but could probably take or leave them. He doesn’t know basic commands but is very smart and will learn quickly. Fully housebroken. Slept on his dog bed in our room. Not a barker. Is indifferent to the cats. Really loves kids, he’s great with them. 

I think he’s just happy to be around people. He’s very adaptable!

STELLALUNA

This sweet overbred Boston Terrier mix is ready for her next chapter. She is about 6 years old, 29 pounds and was terrified at the pound. Our rescue partners got her out of the shelter and into a loving foster home. As soon as she left the shelter she crawled into her foster mom’s lap and promptly fell asleep. 

Her foster mom in AR said:

“StellaLuna is a great girl and loves to sit on your lap or beside you. She seems to be scared of my bigger dogs so maybe in a home without anything over medium size and gentle. She's very quiet. She hasn't shown any interest in my cats but she's still scared so I can't say for sure if she's good with them just yet. I'll have my grands Sunday and will kid test her then. She hasn't snapped at any dogs so good temperament.” She just needs some time to decompress but is just the sweetest!

We want to bring her to CO to find her the perfect home but we need a foster to help! Those ears are the best.
