Luke is ready for his forever home!
He is absolutely precious. His mom is a Standard Party Poodle and his dad is a handsome Great Pyrenees (both pictured on our website). He was born May 6, 2025 so is about 14 weeks old. This guy not only has good looks but a personality to match. He LOVES belly rubs, is super sweet and loves attention but not super needy. He is crate trained and close to potty trained, he is great if you keep him on a schedule and sleeps through the night no problem. Quick learner and eager to please. Super yummy coat and puppy breath! He is on the calmer side for a puppy and a total sweetheart. He is currently in a foster home in Carbondale. LuckyDayRescue.org to apply!

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED!
This is Marigold. She is an 18-month-old female Golden Retriever/ Lab Mix (guess). She weights 45 pounds. She is great with kids and plays well with other dogs in a dog park environment. While she does well with other dogs, she would probably prefer being the only dog at home getting all the attention. Marigold walks nicely on leash, is housebroken, and quiet. Marigold has a sweet disposition. She is a great size with a great demeanor! LuckyDayRescue.org to apply

Alvin is ready for his new home!
Alvin is a beautiful purebred St. Bernard who is guessed to be about 1.5 years old and is 142 pounds. He is a big boy with a huge head! This overgrown pup is a gentle giant. He does love a good run/play but also is great at lounging around. He is really good with other dogs. For cats, he wants SO MUCH to be best friends but just doesn't understand why they run away....and then he cries about it.
He will need an experienced person with large breed dogs and even better someone who ‘gets’ Saint Bernards. His foster dad loves him and he said this boy is magical! He would love a backyard to lounge in and would love to be in a cooler climate. A property with some acreage would be ideal, he would love a horse property! Alvin will gently paw you for attention, he is really sweet. Great eyes and markings, very handsome! Good in the car. He is currently in a foster home in the Denver area. LuckyDayRescue.org to apply!

Sweet little Muffin!
This cutie came to the shelter in MO. She was scared by all the dogs barking in their kennels but when the director sat on the floor with her she quickly became a loving lap dog. She is 29 pounds but could use some groceries. A Doodle of some sort? Muffin is young, likely under a year or close to 1. The director said she is a real sweetheart and is going to make a great pet. She will need some confidence building and some constant good experiences with the world . Right now she is scared of new situations, the groomer, the car, new people, new dogs but once she is comfortable she turns into a loving lap dog. Not an aggressive bone in her body, just scared. Her foster said she is sweet and loving once she knows you. She barks when she is nervous, but not a barky dog. At first she barked at Kurtis (shelter director) until she knew him. Now she loves him…She went to city hall & barked at everyone. After a little while she did calm down. She was just scared. She met a little dog and didn’t bark at all. After she gets to know you, she wants your attention. She could not be cuter! She is food motivated and loves getting treats and being told she is a good girl. Loves to please and to learn. She got moved from the shelter to a home where she can get some stability.
Muffin is already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for her new person or whole family to love her!

Gilda…
Just as good and sweet as her name implies! We think she is a Golden Retriever mix, so soft and fuzzy! Gilda and her brother were found wandering the woods in Arkansas after being dumped (sadly all too common in this area). 20 pounds and about 4.5 months old, estimated DOB 4/2/25. She is all puppy! Plays, zooms around, plays again, then falls asleep. Repeat! She has begun to fetch, but is not quite sure why she has to bring it back! This cute girl is also working on potty training, it is a work in progress. She is ready to explore the world with her new family. Super sweet gentle girl. Gilda is spayed and vaccinated and ready for her new person or whole family! luckydayrescue.org to apply

Dollie is the sweetest girl who just wants to love and be loved. She is an expert leaner and gives the best hugs and snuggles. She has smart, soulful eyes, and is already learning to sit, come, and lay down (she loves good treats). She has a silly, playful side and loves to gently give you her paws and the best nose bumps. She has the softest ears and the best face with her expressive wizard brows. She loves walks and exploring, and she is learning to walk well with a harness. Dollie loves being with her people and other dogs. She dives right into soft, fluffy beds and blankets. She is great in the car and in elevators, sleeps through the night, and she is crate and house trained. With a little coaxing, she rides the gondola like a seasoned pro. She has very nice manners in the house, and has been calm and happy even with noisy, construction at a nearby neighbor’s unit and during her visits to the vet. She weighs about 65 pounds, is guessed to be about 2 years old and we think she looks like a Giant Schnauzer mix! She has a beautiful, shiny black coat and a perfect white patch on her chest. She is just the best girl. Dollie LOVES to learn and likes to engage in all kinds of training, so smart. She is a happy, friendly pup that turns heads everywhere she goes. She likes to go places with you and is up for anything. She likes to say hi to everyone, very friendly. She cut her foot so it is bandaged but she is so easy going she lets you change it without any fuss. Whoever gets this dog is one lucky person or family! She is currently in a loving foster home in Basalt. LuckyDayRescue.org to apply Good with cats too!

Meet Hazlenut! This sweet gal came to us from an overcrowded shelter out of state where she and her liter mates had been dumped.
This little love bug has a few things she particularly loves and those are her toys, sticks, her dog friends and most of all sunbathing!!!! Anywhere there is a sun spot, Hazlenut is going to find it! She loves being outdoors and just loves to lay in the sun!
She is so totally loving and also loves to snuggles up with blankets!
She is great in her crate and could also be a trusted free roamer as long as things are picked up!
She is almost 1 year old, spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Her foster family absolutely adores her and we are so excited to see where she lands next!!! She is great with other dogs and kids!! LuckyDayRescue.org to apply!

KIKI!
Kiki is a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is ready for a family of her own.
Her foster family’s own words-“Kiki is one of the most loving dogs. Her perfect day would be to lay around and be loved. She likes to snuggle once she knows you, she likes to lick and give hugs. Once she’s settled, she really is low-maintenance. She does like to bark at people walking too close (we live on a golf course), but will come in and stop barking when called.”
Beautiful girl is 52lbs, completely potty trained and crate trained. She is a total foodie- with treats and blueberries being her faves. One of her best friends is her Doxie foster doggy sister- she LOVES to play with her and chase her. Another one of her favorite things to do is snuggle with her humans.
Kiki would do best with a patient, loving family who has someone who works from home or is home more often. Kiki is shy around new people, she takes some time to warm up. She has bonded to the 4 teens in the home, her foster mom & dad, & does fine around the kitties. She is dog friendly and needs proper introductions for success. Kiki would do best with a backyard as she loves to spend her time outside. We think she would also do best with older children (14+).
Kiki is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. LuckyDayRescue.org to apply to meet this lover girl! She deserves the happiest ever after. She is currently in a loving foster home in Aurora.

Bear is ready for his forever home!
This handsome fella is a gem. His vet records say he is 1 year old but just a guess. He is about 55 pounds and just as sweet as they come. Not sure of his breed mix, maybe Greater Swiss Mountain Dog mix? He has old soul eyes. He showed up on a property in AR as a stray and never claimed. He was an outdoor only dog for so long, he is still working on his house training but is great if you get him out regularly. His CO foster mom said Bear is a VERY well behaved dog, exceptionally calm. This guy is great on a leash and has superb recall off leash, his foster mom calls him and he comes flying back full throttle! He is excellent with cats and loves kids, very gentle even with babies. Knows sit and is learning ‘down’. We think he would do best with an older dog or a solo dog as he loves getting all the attention. He gets very attached to his person and will follow you around like a shadow. He would love a person or family that are around a lot as he wants to be close and is up for anything. Very loving and will fill someones heart!
