Calling all Rottie lovers! This girl needs your help. 

Lady Vega is a gorgeous Rottweiler who is about 6 years old and overweight at 101 lbs! She definitely needs to lose some weight to be healthy. She is a lover of people and deserves to be an adored family member. She was recently turned in to the shelter due to an out of state move. She was mostly an outdoor dog and we would love to find her a person or family who won’t leave her outside all day and night. 

Vega is very loving with people but can be dog selective so we would love for her to go to an experienced Rottie family to help her with boundaries, someone that gets the breed. Moose! This handsome fella is coming to CO on May 28. He needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER, do you love Great Danes? Wanna help?!

Moose is 5 years old and 140 pounds of Great Dane! He is such a good boy, he was surrendered to the shelter, we don’t know why and it’s hard to understand as he is just a gem! He is great with people of all ages and other dogs. Moose is pretty chill, more of an easy-going, lower energy couch potato but also loves a good walk. Meet sweet old man Benny!

This little darling has had a rough road. His owner ended up in the hospital and the landlord kicked Benny out, just put him outside to fend for himself. He had this massive tumor he was dragging around. Our lovely rescue partners got him and took him to the vet. Lucky Day paid for his tumor to be removed and got him all vetted. He will be coming to CO to find his new home May 28. He is estimated to be a 9 year old, 14 pound Chihuahua mix. He is very chill and just needs a warm lap and some love. Johnny Walker is the cutest Chihuahua who loves people and is cat and dog-friendly.   Johnny Walker is five years and 12 lbs. He is a big baby. 

He lets strangers pick him up. He likes to cuddle. He was awfully dramatic about his shots at the vet's office, but when the staff at the Rescue looked at his nails, there were no problems when they touched them.  He is a little sweetheart! LuckyDayRescue.org to apply

FOSTER or ADOPTER needed for Frankie! Arriving to CO on May 28. Can you help?

Frankie is a darling pup! The vet is guessing him to be a Flat-Coated Retriever mix but we really don’t know. He is about 10 months old and 45 pounds. He is very friendly and even more beautiful in person. He is good with other dogs, playful and curious, loves to meet other dogs and have a romp. He is good with people, super friendly, perhaps a  little shy at first but warms up completely when you greet him by name, especially if you have a treat in your pocket!  We do not know if he is good with cats but he is so young and smart, we feel he can learn boundaries very quickly. Meet Kosmo!

This handsome fella is a 12 year old German-Pointer mix who weighs 90 pounds. His mom loves him so much but she had to move and he is having to be alone for long hours in a small apt. with no yard and she wants a better life for him. 

Kosmo is a well trained mellow guy who would love to live out his senior years with a person or family that can spend time with him and he would love a fenced in yard to enjoy. 

His current owner said about him:

"I think he would do best in a home with a fenced yard - he loves to lay outside in the sun and sniff the breeze. He does not dig. He would enjoy going on a slow 1/2 mile - 1 mile walk every day or every other day. He enjoys chewing on bones and squeaky toys and playing fetch with sticks. He loves to pick up his toy and bring it to you when you enter the room. He would enjoy being around people for most of the day or people coming and going. He likes to follow people around the house so he feels involved with whatever is going on. When people leave, he just goes to sleep. He is large but thinks he is small and is super friendly towards everyone he meets. He has been around cats and kids no problem but has never lived with either. Fine with dogs. He is good with walking on a leash and likes to stop and sniff a lot. I have used a pinch collar while walking him to help with controlling him if/when he pulls.

FOSTER NEEDED for Whiskey! Can you help??

This black and tan Dachshund mix is coming to CO on Wednesday, May 13 and he and his 2 brothers (Rufus and Louie) need a safe place to land! Whiskey is 18 pounds and they are all guessed to be about 11 months old. They are all super sweet and shy. They will need a kind, patient person to help them gain confidence and they will reward you with all their hearts! They were dropped off at a shelter in AR so we don’t know much about their past but we know they are going to bring so much joy to CO and whoever gets to be with them. We do know they lived with a 5 year old child and did great. Get along well with other dogs and are as cute as can be! LuckyDayRescue.org to apply!

Lakota is a 75 pound, 1 year old Great Pyrenees. Her owner became blind and can no longer care for her. She has her chained up outside in AR - very hot and humid for that thick coat and no life to be chained up all the time. We would love to make her a CO dog and find her a family to love her. We can only bring her to CO if we have a safe place for her to land.  She is super sweet, wags her tail constantly and loves people! She is great with other dogs and just a big hairy sweetheart! STELLALUNA

This sweet overbred Boston Terrier mix is ready for her next chapter. She is about 6 years old, 29 pounds and was terrified at the pound. Our rescue partners got her out of the shelter and into a loving foster home. As soon as she left the shelter she crawled into her foster mom’s lap and promptly fell asleep. 

Her foster mom in AR said:

“StellaLuna is a great girl and loves to sit on your lap or beside you. She seems to be scared of my bigger dogs so maybe in a home without anything over medium size and gentle. She's very quiet. She hasn't shown any interest in my cats but she's still scared so I can't say for sure if she's good with them just yet. I'll have my grands Sunday and will kid test her then. She hasn't snapped at any dogs so good temperament.” She just needs some time to decompress but is just the sweetest!

We want to bring her to CO to find her the perfect home but we need a foster to help! Those ears are the best. She melted us and we want to help her have the best next part of her life but we need your help. StellaLuna is now spayed, current on her vaccinations, hw-, microchipped and ready for love.
